Saferworld submission to the International Development Committee’s inquiry on Pakistan

Saferworld welcomes the International Development Committee’s inquiry into UK aid in Pakistan. As a conflict prevention and peacebuilding organisation with more than 20 years of experience working in conflict-affected and fragile states, we have focused this submission on the areas of inquiry in which Saferworld has expertise and where Saferworld and its partners work. Our current programme of work in Pakistan focuses on promoting participatory approaches to peacebuilding in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, some of the most conflict-affected areas of the country.
