Saferworld's annual review 2023–24

Saferworld and partners worked tirelessly to prevent violent conflict and build peace across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East in 2023–24. Read about it in our latest annual review.

• we’re working with partners in South Sudan to challenge harmful gender norms and safeguard women and girls’ mental and physical health 
• climate change is impacting communities in Kenya, and how our partner organisations are adapting to build peace  
• a transformative, flexible funding model is helping civil society organisations in Yemen to design their own solutions to the conflict issues faced by their communities  
• the Civil Society Coalition on Human Rights and Counter-Terrorism, hosted by Saferworld, is transforming narratives and policies related to counter-terrorism and human rights 
• the Resourcing Change project is increasing the independent role of women’s rights organisations and peacebuilders in Nigeria, South Sudan and Yemen
