Peace and security issues in Yemen – Improving governance and mitigating conflict: a civil society-led approach
The conflict in Yemen has taken an immense toll on its people, who endure widespread threats to their safety and security.
Drawing on two recent studies in Taiz and Aden, this briefing examines the issues people in these communities face on a daily basis and reflects their ideas on how to address them. It provides recommendations for what can be done at the community level and identifies steps the international community can take to support Yemeni civil society to improve peace and security.
