Change Agency Association (CAA) is a non-profit organisation based in Yambio, South Sudan. It was founded in 1999 as Future Search Group, with the aim of responding to the needs of vulnerable members of society including children and older people who had experienced human rights abuses, violence, and discrimination.
CAA’s role in Saferworld’s community security programme includes ensuring that people understand the benefits of the programme and are able to participate, with a special emphasis on community security assessments. This is done through organising frequent community dialogue meetings, forming community security working groups (CSWGs), conducting trainings, and coordinating awareness campaigns through radio programmes.
