The Yemeni-led hubs that are helping to build sustainable peace

In Yemen, Saferworld and its partners support four hubs that are forums for discussion, decision-making and coordinated action by Yemeni organisations. Two of these are women’s hubs – Noon women’s hub in Aden and the Wahg women’s hub in Taiz – which support women leaders and advocate for their inclusion in peace processes and civil society spaces. The other two hubs – Aswat Madania (civil voices) in Taiz and the Peace and Development hub in Aden – bring together civil society organisations to foster dialogue, address conflict and enhance community security.

This animation explores the work of the four hubs, and their contribution to build sustainable peace.
